NEW Corporate Health Services Division

  WORKWELL Introduces
“Corporate Health Services” Division

Comprehensive Corporate Care for All Phases of Employer Health Needs

Longmont, CO – June 12, 2006WORKWELL Occupational Medicine is pleased to announce a new division of the company entitled “Corporate Health Services.”  This new division provides employers and companies in Colorado with tools and resources to deal with their human resources, safety, and risk management requirements on many levels, on multiple time schedules, for all their corporate health care needs.

“Again, we respond to the needs of our clients,” states Stephen Pottenger, MBA, WORKWELL Occupational Medicine’s Marketing Director, “and those needs have evolved away from just work comp injury care.  As the workplace evolves, so must today’s employers, and so does WORKWELL.”   Mr. Pottenger goes on to state that “over the past 3 years, state and national trends show a decrease in workers’ compensation injuries.  This is directly due to the fact that employers understand and have become more savvy and aware of the cost factors associated with workplace injuries.  Instead, companies are now investing in preventive and safety related services and they are seeing a direct and positive result such as a reduction in workplace injuries, increased employee productivity, and money saved through reduced insurance premiums and lower health care costs.”

WORKWELL Occupational Medicine now features “Multiple Phases” of corporate care to assist employers in providing a safe and responsible work environment.  These phases are grouped into service offerings and include Compliance, Pre-Employment, Workers’ Compensation Injury Care, Corporate Health and Wellness, and Ongoing Support.  A quick look on their website (www.workwelloccmed.com) under “Corporate Health Services” shows that they are providing services ranging from Defibrillator (AED) programs, Medical Director Services, Medical Monitoring Programs, Employment and Background Verifications, Physician Supervised Smoking Cessation programs, and Safety Consulting just to name a few.

WORKWELL Occupational Medicine will be rolling out these and more valuable products and services over the next several months,” states Mr. Pottenger, “and employers are best notified through our free eNewsletter, the WORKWELL Advocate.  Not only does it provide timely info on a variety of insightful topics for HR and Risk Management interests, but it also includes links to our ‘Online Safety Series’ that employers can use.  Each month, a new safety topic is highlighted and discussed and includes a variety of links, presentations, articles, signs, tools, and more for employers to utilize free of charge.  It is a great way for employers to stay informed and keep their employees safe and they can sign up at www.workwelloccmed.com.”
